Madden signs with Lewis-Clark State

A highly decorated track star in high school, Twin Bridges senior and Whitehall resident Michaela Madden will be continuing her career at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.

Twin Bridges Superintendent Chad Johnson said Madden has been instrumental in the success of the Lady Falcons Track team the past three seasons, and he expects more of the same this spring.

Madden signed her National Letter of Intent in late January in front of family, friends, students and staff at the high school.

She currently holds the girls' long jump school record at 16'6 and with her teammates, holds the current 4x400 and 4x100 records as well. Madden placed 8th at state in the long jump last year, and finished with first place medals in the 4x400 and 4x100 relays.

Coach Louis Reynolds praised his senior athlete stating not only is she an incredible athlete, but her dedication to the sport is amazing.

"The entire Falcons family wishes Michaela the best upon graduation and will be rooting for her and the Warriors next competitive season," Johnson said.
