The season will come to an end Saturday for the Whitehall High School Cross Country team.
The Trojans will be competing at the State Tournament at the Bill Roberts Golf Course in Helena.
“I feel like we are ready for state,” head coach Kerry Sacry said.
The team last competed Saturday at a meet in Townsend. Sacry said he felt the team had some good runs and highlighted Lady Trojan Madison Loomis who ran a 23:10 and placed 23rd, and Dawson Powers who finished 23rd in the boy’s race at 19:23.34. Kenzie Hugulet had a time of 23:14.96, and Dalton Denny finished at 24:35.36.
In the junior varsity boy’s race, Beau Wagner finished in 19th with a time of 22:38.44.
In the junior high race, Adam Williams was the top finisher for Whitehall. He placed 23rd with a time of 12:55.19. Kolin Smith had a time of 18:45.53.
