Fall gun show runs Friday to Sunday

The annual Whitehall Fall Gun, Knight and Antique show is just a few days away.

The popular annual event is scheduled to take place September 8 to 10 at the Whitehall Community Center located at 11 N. Division St.

The show is sponsored the Whitehall VFW and American Legion, and the Weapons Collectors Society of America.

The event will take place September 8 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., September 9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and September 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizer Tom Harrington told the Ledger earlier this year what makes the Whitehall show unique is the variety of vendors with unique items.

“There is something for everyone,” Harrington said.

Harrington added the show has a good reputation, is centrally located, and brings in a lot of people from Butte, Dillon, and Helena. The 2017 show will include guns, archery, leather, optics, art, antiques and black powder. The admission is $1 per day. Children get in free.
