Car Wash serves dual role

Residents at Liberty Place were recently thinking of a way to help out the community, while at the same time looking to obtain funds so they could go out for pizza and several other outings.

They decided to combine both efforts at a car wash last week at the Farmstead Property near Whitehall.

Diana Smith of Liberty Place said the residents were very excited about the car wash and also that they could help out the community. She added they were also happy to get money for pizza.

Resident Braden Duffild was one of four helping out at the car wash, and said he was very excited when cars started to show up.

Smith added this gave a chance for residents something different, but fun they could do.
