Lenita Patricia (Watson) Parker

Patricia Parker, 79, passed away peacefully in her home in Three Forks on Wednesday evening July 26, 2017, surrounded by her family. Patricia was born at the Murry Hospital in Butte, Montana, March 17, 1938. She grew up on a ranch in the North Boulder Valley. She attended the Eureka grade school where she often rode horseback to school. She graduated from Whitehall High School in 1955 while staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Berry. After graduating, she worked for Batchelder_'s Creamery in Three Forks for a year. She then attended Northwest Air college in Spokane, Washington and worked for West Coast Airlines in Seattle, Washington for almost three years before returning to Montana in 1958. When she returned to Montana she meant Monte Parker, and they were married January 15, 1959 and lived in Willow Creek for two years. In 1962, Faye and Helen Parker (Monte's parents), their daughter Judy, and Monte and Patricia moved to the Sappington Ranch to manage it for Maude Sappington (Aunt to Helen Parker). In 1968, after the death of Mrs. Sappington, they purchased the ranch, on which they owned and operated until they sold it in 2004, to the KG Ranch. Patricia loved to cook and had cooking jobs at the Three Forks A&W, Johnthan_'s, and the Three Forks Senior Center.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Mildred Watson, brother, Martin Watson, and husband of 52 years, Monte Parker. Patricia is survived by her children Skip (Sandy) Parker, Wesley (Lisa) Parker, and Cliff (Donna) Parker. Eight grandchildren, Matthew Parker, Allison Chadwick, Chase Parker, Adrian Parker, Layne Parker, Ryan Parker, Tylene Parker, and Oliva Parker. Two great-grandchildren Kadience and Jaesca Chadwick.

Funeral Services will be held at the KG Ranch Sale Barn at 11:00am, Monday July 31, 2017. Internment immediately following at the Sappington Cemetery with the reception at the Three Forks Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Three Forks Food Bank or the American Cancer Society.
