Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Kirsten Isabel Ryerson

Kirsten Isabel Ryerson was born in Billings on March 10, 1996 to Lorie and Kurt Ryerson.

Knowing Kristen was born with Multi-X syndrome, her parents embraced her as God's gift to them, enjoying many moments of joy as she grew and shared their life. The family moved several times, finally settling in Whitehall where Kirsten went to school, graduating from high school in 2014. Her greatest loves besides her family were dogs and horses. She became a member of Community of Christ, bringing her church family delightful moments as she shared her dreams, hopes and exciting experiences. Though limited in her abilities, her sense of God's Spirit surprised and blessed the group many times.

Kirsten's sister, Katelyn (Sissy) was her best friend. They adored each other as only sisters can, supporting each other through difficult times.

Kirsten's smile was inviting; her laugh was so calm and warm. Her spirit was kind and gentle. She was compassionate to those who hurt. Those who loved her, loved her deeply and without reserve. Whether is was shooting hoops for a free Pepsi, or running obstacle courses she gave her all without regard to embarrassment. She loved to have fun, go to movies, get her hair and nails done and she loved shopping! She loved adventure like hiking or riding horses or her bike. She loved big trucks, the fast and furious kind.

Kirsten gave so much light to so many and she will be great missed.

Her family would appreciate either flowers, donations to her Go Fund Me site, donations to an account at Rocky Mountain Bank, or a donation to the Jefferson Valley Search and Rescue.

Her memorial service will be July 8 at 2 p.m. at the Sacry Ranch located at 78 Cemetery Road in Cardwell.
