Three Whitehall teenagers are heading to the National Junior High Rodeo scheduled for June 18 to 24 in Lebanon, TN.
Garris Robertson, Jacy Johnson, and Brynna Wolfe all qualified at the Montana Junior High Finals May 28 and 29 in Townsend.
Johnson qualified with a second place finish in pole bending. Johnson also qualified for nationals by finishing in first place in the rifle competition.
Robertson finished first in tie down roping and boys goat tying. He and his partner Haven Wolstein of Helena finished second in ribbon roping. Robertson was the reserve all-around boys champ for the year. The top four finishers at state qualify for nationals. He was fifth in chute dogging and team roping.
Wolfe finished in first place in barrel racing. Look for a feature story on the trio next week.
