Vacation rental opens in Whitehall

With just one hotel in town, local resident Mary Janacaro Hensleigh saw a need for more accommodations in Whitehall.

She took action to remedy the issue and recently opened the First and Blue Vacation Rental. Located at 300 West First, Hensleigh described the rental as a comfortable, cozy, cottage.

She said with many events in town like the upcoming Montana Mule Days, Frontier Days, auctions, class reunions and weddings at the Copper K Barn, it made sense to turn what she was using as a rental into a vacation property.

The property has a queen bed in the main bedroom, 'sleeper' porch, full kitchen, front room with big screen television, cable, internet, washer and dryer, and a newly sodded yard with a patio and gas grill.

She had members of the Whitehall Chamber visit the vacation rental last week and said they were happy with what they saw.
