David Stanley Schiller II

On Thursday May 18, 2017, the world lost an amazing man, husband, father, son, brother and friend, in David Stanley Schiller II, age 40 of Three Forks, MT. After years of struggling with depression, David succumbed to the darkness, and entered the light, by his own hand. "Dave," as many knew him fondly, was the first-born son of David and Joyce (Baer) Schiller. He came into the world on Sept 10, 1976, at Travis AFB, CA. Growing up in a military

family David lived in many different states around the country, and developed a love for traveling. He graduated from Lewis Palmer High School, in Monument, CO, in 1995. In high school David was involved in wrestling, cross country, and football. He also played the trombone. David was an Eagle Scout, and the 1989 All American Soap Box Derby World Champion, in Akron, OH. David had so many skills and talents, including, a love for reading, writing, drawing, and taking things apart and putting them back together again. Whether it was fixing the kitchen sink, or fixing remote control helicopters, he could do it. David met the love of his life, Renee (Adamson) Schiller in Great Falls, MT, and they later married. They had two beautiful children together; Mikaela Tyan, 17, and David Payton, 11. He shared his love for the outdoors with his son, a love of running with his daughter, and a great love for fishing with his dad and brother, but he especially shared this passion with his wife, and her love of fishing was one of the reasons he'd tell you he married her, even if she wouldn't bait her own hook! David left a letter to his wife and had written several poems in his daughter Mikaela's journal. Throughout the underlying darkness that he faced in his life, the one constant was the love for his wife, and children. He told them in his final goodbye that the times he spent with them, were the "best he's ever had." In a final journal entry to his beautiful Mikaela Tyan, David wrote: I am Always. I am Forever. I love you Lil Foot. Daddy can make it better. Believe. Belong. Remember. -David S. Schiller David will always be remembered for his amazing smile, kind eyes, his gentle and generous heart, and as a loving and devoted father, and husband. He is survived by his wife, Renee, his two children, Mikaela Tyan, and David Payton, by his parents, David P. Schiller, Hampton, VA, and Joyce (Baer) Schiller, Cave Creek, AZ, and his younger brother, Mark Alan Schiller, Cave Creek, AZ. He is also survived by his grandfather, David S.
