Fish delivered to Rotary pond

Each year near Memorial Day fish are placed in the Rotary Club Fish Pond located in Legion Park.

Last Friday morning, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Fish Naturalist Kerry Berger made a trip to fill the pond.

Berger said she would be stocking the pond with 35 Westslope cutthroat trout from Washoe Park in Anaconda.

Rotary Club member Erv Hedegaard said the fish will remain in the pond until after Labor Day. He added they will then drain the pond, fillet the fish and divide them up with most going to the senior center
