Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Whitehall resident and artist Michelle Tebay has a love for the land and the state of Montana. This is proudly reflected in her work.
A juried member of the Pastel Society of America and the Oil Painters of America, Tebay is currently displaying her works at a special "Montana and Beyond" display through the end of June in the dining room at Boulder Hot Springs.
At a special reception last Sunday, Tebay shared her happiness about the showcase.
"It's an honor to be asked to display my work as a one women show. It really is," she said. "I live for the land and the art reflects that. Everything I do reflects my love for the land."
Taking a quick break from visiting with family and friends at the reception, Tebay stressed the importance of local shows.
"It helps the community. It helps the artist. It helps other artists who are encouraged to do the same thing," Tebay said.
Tebay has been involved in several juried shows in Wyoming and Colorado, as well as the Virginia City Arts Show and Quick Draw, Bozeman Draws, and The Sweet Pea juried show, all in Montana. For more information about the artist, visit http://www.michelletebay.com.
