Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
The annual meeting of the Jefferson Valley Museum will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Fellowship Hall at the Trinity United Methodist Church on 102 North Brooke Street.
A short board meeting will review the Museum’s key business items and an election will be held for the expiring board member positions currently held by Kermit Hoyenga and John Joy. The annual historic program will follow. This year, museum volunteer Arlene Weber will provide a review of Piedmont, Pleasant Valley, Renova, and some of the events and people who lived in these areas. The public is welcome to attend and enjoy the program.
The museum opens for the 2017 season on the Memorial Day weekend. New items have been added and some exhibits have been updated for this summer. A reproduction of the first Montana highway map (1914) will be available at the museum this summer. The 20 x 30-inch print will sell for $15. Admission to the museum is free.
Donations and/or memberships are welcome to help cover the costs in maintaining the building and growing collection of local artifacts.
