Paint and party slated for next Friday

Legends Bar and Grill owner Tammy Baxter has been wanting to do something at the business that will break up the monotony of the winter months. She's hoping a painting party scheduled for next week will do the trick.

Legends will be hosting Marley's Paint and Party of Butte Friday, February 10 at 7 p.m.

According to Baxter, those in attending will be painting one of two bird silhouettes. She said the cost for the event is $27, and Marley's will be providing all of the art supplies and guidance to help with the painting.

Baxter said there would be only two rules at the event, the first is to not cut down your own painting, and the other is not to cut down anyone else's art.

"It sounds fun and it is something different to do," she said.

Baxter is planning on having the event in the bar area of the business located at 13 W. Legion in Whitehall, and will also have appetizer and drink specials.

She said it will be first come, first serve and those interested in attending can just show up and pay at the door.
