Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
January is a month full of cold and winter. January also reminds us of portions of our life that may need improving or revamping (New Year’s Resolutions). It is funny how motivated we are to start something new, or continue something started because of a resolution. As I pondered what my resolution should be, I was reminded of work and what was accomplished in 2016.
As a professional, my goal is to help continue making Whitehall the best elementary school it can possibly become. Our students here are the best and are also why educators choose the profession. The Whitehall School District strives to make the best better! In doing this, we are constantly analyzing data, curriculum, and supports that the district uses to help shape our culture. In reflecting on 2016, I am reminded of some positive changes to our school. We were able to implement both reading and math curriculums, update portions of our facilities and purchase new equipment including technology that continues to help our students grow. We look to carry on the updating of curriculums, facilities and technology in 2017. We want to supply the best for our students both academically and socially while they are attending school in Whitehall. Be proud to be a TROJAN!
