The Whitehall Drama Troupe presented “Cheaper by the Dozen” last week to the students and community. “The play was a comedy with some messages about inter-generational conflicts, dealing with teenagers and about what is important,” said Drama Coach Susie Tilton-Chiovaro.
Athlete of the Week: Britta Mabbott – a junior at WHS, has been chosen for her commanding role in volleyball. She is the daughter of Brent and Sandi Mabbott.
The area men‘s league basketball teams opened their season on January 5 with three games, two held in Whitehall, and one in Harrison. Paunch-O’s won over Three Forks. The (Dale) Feight team won over Willow Creek.
Twenty Cub Scouts from Whitehall Pack 24, six of their siblings and ten adults, took part in a “Learn to Cross Country Ski” Clinic Saturday, Jan. 11, at Mount Haggin in the Nordic ski area south of Anaconda. The annual event is sponsored by an area club, the Mile High Nordic Ski Club, who provided instructors for all levels and abilities.
