Mary Cecilia (Bogner} Schramm

Mary Cecilia (Bogner) Schramm died peacefully on December 28, 20 16, at her home in Whitehall. She was born on December 5, 1925, in Fort Benton, MT, to Mary Elizabeth (Dickman} and Cornelius Sylvester Bogner. She graduated from Fort Benton High School in 1944 and worked at Columbus Hospital in Great Falls as a Bookkeeper. She met Edward Robert Schramm in Fort Benton and they were married there on September 30, 1947. They built homes in Fort Benton and Great Falls and in the summer of 1964 moved their family to Las Vegas, NV, where they built homes in Las Vegas and Henderson. In 2004, they moved back to

Montana to build their final home near Whitehall. A beloved wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, together with her husband, they raised eight children: Madonna (Paul) Tilman of Henderson, NV; Edward Robert Schramm, Jr., of Whitehall, MT; Dennis (Marcia) Schramm of Auburn, WA; Sheila (Steve) Kerfoot of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada; Virginia (Dennis) Maestas of Henderson, NV; Juanita (Jeff) Ashton of Olathe, KS; John (Elizabeth} Schramm of Whitehall, MT: and Thomas (Michelle} Schramm of Henderson, NV. She was the very proud grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 20 (with two more arriving in 2017).

Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her husband pre· deceased her in 2013 and her daughter Sheila in 2015. She was also pre-deceased bybrothers Vincent (Marie) Bogner and Cornelius (Juliana) Bogner and sister Therese (Raymond) Mousel. In addition to her remaining seven children, she is survived by her sister Bemadine (Stanley) Dostal of Fort Benton, MT; and Maryanne (Gary) Kostelnik; and brothers Paul (Frances) Bogner of Berwyn, Alberta, Canada: and Donald (Josie) Bogner of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada; and Michael (Rita} Bogner of Great Falls. MT.

There will be a celebration of her life with mass at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Whitehall on January 7, 2017 at 11 :00 a.m.

The family would like to give a special thank you to their brother John and his wife Liz for all thel oving care they provided for their mother.
