Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Dennis Ray Dulaney

Dennis Ray Dulaney, born April 17, 1951, passed away December 17, 2016, at his home in Bellevue, Washington, surrounded by family and friends.

Dennis was born in Butte to Charles and Mary Dulaney. He was raised in Whitehall and loved spending time camping and hunting the mountains of Montana, making the pilgrimage back home as often as possible. After graduation from high school, he served in the Navy and was released from active duty in August 1971. He then worked odd jobs for a short time, married and moved to Gig Harbor, Washington where he hired on as a welder at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He remarried in 1985 and moved to Bellevue, commuting across Puget Sound to work at the shipyard until his retirement at the end of 2006.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters Nicole Kowalski, Heidi Sharp (Michael), Nancy Tallmon (Darren); stepsons Jerrold Neth, Jamie Neth (Abby); brothers Frank Dulaney (Deborah) and Rick Dulaney (Sylvia); sister Wanda Freman (Michael); eleven grandchildren; his aunt Joyce Held; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Generally easy going and up for any kind of mischief, comfortable with his own company, Denny was in his own words "perfect in every way."

Per his wishes, he will be cremated. A family gathering in Montana is planned for late next spring.
