Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Just think, next week at this time it will be the winter solstice. The days will start getting longer! I know it will be cold, but it just means that God is preparing for Spring. And did you notice that ever faithful moon? Every thing is precise and in order and dependable. Whose in charge of that?
The Lady Cougars at Cardwell had great success at the Sheridan Tourney. They won 3 out of 4 games. After four games and a lot of hard work, the girls were pretty tired! This will be the last week for the girls with a game at Harrison - we'll know the results for next week's Ledger - and on Saturday a Tourney is scheduled in Twin Bridges. Nakoah Falcon and Wyatt Biggers are doing the managers jobs.
The Christmas Program will be on December 20th at 6 pm at the Cardwell gym. Everyone is encouraged to come and support the students.
Students for the month of November were Kadience Chadwick and Wesley Biggers. Congratulations!
Hostess, Martha Hanson, had prizes for the Pinochle Club last week during their regular afternoon of cards at the Senior Center. Erv Hedegaard placed High and also won Pinochle; Renee Webster was Second and Aileen Shaw won Low. Aileen, Erv, and Don Simmons filled in as guests. Margaret Irish will be the next hostess.
Christmas Eve Services are scheduled for 6 pm at the Cardwell Church, 8 miles south of the I-90 Interchange at Cardwell. Christmas morning worship will be at 11:00 am. Please come and celebrate the birth of Christ!
