JUANITA (NITA) LATIMER

Juanita (Nita) Latimer passed away in her home in Whitehall on October 9, 2016. She was born near Cincinnati, Ohio on September 16, 1950.

Nita was the loving wife of Jerome (Jerry) Latimer and was an integral part of his life for 37 years. She and Jerry were married February 16, 1979 and spent their days together enjoying each other and their common interests. She was especially fond of camping, cooking, and photography, loving all things related to the outdoors. She attended nursing school at St. Petersburg (Florida) Junior College and practiced nursing until Jerry retired from Stetson University, School of Law, in St. Petersburg in 2007 when they moved to Whitehall.

Nita is survived by her husband Jerry, her sister, Carol Westrick, and brother Gary Hammons in Cincinnati, and a sister, Marlene Bolles in St. Petersburg FL

A memorial service will be held at Cardwell Community Church, 795 Hwy 359 (8 miles south of Interstate 90), on December 10, 2016 beginning at 1pm.
