LAST WEEK
The Lady Trojans showed glimpses of just how good they can be in a loss last Thursday at Townsend.
After losing the first set 25-14, The Lady Trojans came back strong, picking up a 27-25 win in set two. The Lady Bulldogs sealed the match winning the third and forth sets, 25-13, 25-17.
McDonald said the coaching staff was blown away with what the Lady Trojans brought to the court and their fantastic attitude displayed during the game.
"They did everything we asked and more," she said.
Whitehall had only one match last week, but will make up for it this week with three matches in five days.
The Lady Trojans already took care of business against Twin Bridges, will host Manhattan Thursday starting at 5 p.m., and will be on the road Saturday at Gardiner.
Thursday's matchup will be the second time Whitehall and Manhattan have faced off this season. McDonald said after playing once, Manhattan realized the Lady Trojans are not pushovers, and they want to go out and give them a good game.
