    The Whitehall High School wrestling team will open the 2016-17 season Friday and Saturday at a tournament in Cascade. The Trojans will return five wrestlers who qualified for last year’s state tournament in Billings. Connor Johnson, Kayden Howser, Wyatt Powers, Dawson Hoerauf and Braxtyn Armstrong all competed at state last season. Hoerauf, Johnson, and Armstrong all won MHSA Southern B-C Division individual titles last season.     The 2016 season will go down as one of the best ever in the history of Whitehall High School football. The Trojans, who finished the season with a 10-2 record and a spot in the MHSA Class B Semifinals, were well represented on the District 5B All-State and All-Conference teams.     The Montana High School Association Executive Board will meet next month and among the items on their agenda could be a vote to lower the enrollment number for Class B/C Schools across the state.
