    A tremendous high school tennis career for Whitehall's Monica Sepulveda came to an end last week at the Class B-C State Tournament in Missoula. Competing in what head coach Kerry Sacry was one of the best fields he has ever seen at state, Sepulveda was eliminated from competition after dropping her first two matches.     A total of eight Whitehall High School athletes will be competing at MHSA Class B State Track Tournament Friday and Saturday in Butte. Ann Russell, Wyatt Alexander, Hunter Flynn, Max Feight, Steven Japhet, Andrew Simon, Braden Smith and Cade Briggs all finished in the top eight in their events at last week’s Southern B Divisional Meet in Laurel.     Things are clicking at the right time of the season for the Whitehall High School track team. Competing at the District 5B meet last week in Bozeman, the Trojans had strong individual performances on both days of the competition.     Cyris Robertson, a sophomore at the University of Montana, Western, in Dillon, is headed to the CNFR. Robertson competed at the final spring rodeo this past weekend in Great Falls, coming into the tie down roping 8th in the Regional standings.     The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, one of the most successful and popular charity rides in the country, is coming to Whitehall on May 15 for its 23rd annual motorcycle trek.     After several days off for spring break, there was little rest last week for the Whitehall High School track team.     The Whitehall High School track team had some strong individual performances at their season opening meet Saturday at the Sheridan Invite in Dillon. Leading the way for Whitehall was junior Braden Smith who placed in all five of his events.     A total of 11 individuals and four teams were inducted last Saturday night to the Whitehall High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Among the teams that were honored at the second annual ceremony in front of a packed house at the high school was the 1997 state runner up volleyball team.
