At a Board of Trustees meeting last week, Whitehall Superintendent John Sullivan gave members a tour of the new IC Bus that was purchased through Harlow's Transportation.     A 33-year-old Butte resident arrested following a shooting late Tuesday night in Whitehall was released Wednesday on a $100,000 bond. Daniel Adams was changed with attempted deliberate homicide in a shooting that was reported to have taken place during an altercation in an alleyway in the south area of town at 10:55 p.m. According to Jefferson County Sheriff Craig Doolittle, a 33-year-old victim was shot with a small-caliber handgun.     The Whitehall Volunteer Fire Department responded to two truck fires last week. On Saturday morning, the department sent a total of four trucks to a semi truck fire on Interstate 90. Whitehall Fire Chief Jeremy Ward, the fire started on the rear trailer of the semi that was carrying trim boards.     The Whitehall governing body voted Monday to move town offices and public works operations to the former ambulance barn located at 207 E. Legion. The Council voted 4-1 to approve the measure. Jason Good, Montina Rawson, Barbara Gagnon, and Gary Housman all voted in favor of the measure. Francine Giono-Janik was the lone dissenting vote.     Voters in Jefferson County approved Tuesday a ballot measure that will permanently increase tax liability to generate an estimated $29,485 per year for the Jefferson Valley Search and Rescue in and the Elkhorn Search and Rescue. In results from the Montana Secretary of States web site, the measure passed by a vote of 2,413 to 1,020.     In June of 2017, over 1,000 spectators made their way through the gates at the Montana Mule Days at the Rodeo Grounds in Whitehall.
