The Jefferson Valley Museum is sponsoring its first Ghost Walk History Tour on October 5th and 12th. The walking tour will start and end at the Star Theater and cover six city blocks. Starting time will be 6:30 PM for both dates. Tour tickets can be purchased at the Whitehall Coffee Co. and must be presented at the start of the tour. The Reed family, along with friends and supporters, remembered 9/11 with flags, banners, and signs over the I-90 overpass on Monday afternoon. This is their sixth year of this remembrance activity. At the August meeting of the TIF Board, the Town of Whitehall requested a total of $34,000 to complete the installation of the new playground located on Legion Avenue. The ongoing project of the Whitehall Murals Restoration is still alive and vibrant! This year the murals at the Rocky Mountain Bank and the Billsgary Center (K-Bar) buildings will be replaced this fall. It is expected that both murals will be replaced before the good weather ends either in late September or early October. The new murals will be very similar to the previous murals although some changes have been made to make them more historically connected to the Lewis and Clark Journals and more vibrant in color.
