The Whitehall Rotary Club held its annual picnic at the Jefferson Valley Museum on the evening of August 15th. A small portion of the Jefferson River will be closed to all recreation while construction of a new bridge on Meridian Road continues. August 12, 1998 An August 31, 1998, District Court date was set at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Boulder for Christopher Lerman, the youth charged in the Whitehall Railroad Depot fire.
