    Sep 7, 2022

Between the Russian invasion of Ukraine and sky-high oil and gas prices, a significant pellet fuel supply shortage is likely this winter season. Industry experts say you should plan ahead and secure your fuel now for the cold winter months. The good news is that, currently, there is plenty of supply to stock up. As Tim Portz, executive director of the Pellet Fuels Institute explains, Russia is the second largest producer of wood pellets globally, supplying more than 2 million tons to global...

  • COUSIN CLEAVON'S REDNECK COOKING: Mice Meat Pie

    COUSIN CLEAVON|Sep 7, 2022

It is the time of the year in Montana that if you don't have a well-made home you start to see mice and rats in the house. I know this does not happen to everyone, but my house is built like a sieve, it has a lot of holes from over the years. I try hard to keep the mice out, but I always get enough to make a mice-meat pie (that is about 30-40 mice) once or twice a year. I know you are thinking, how do you get enough mice to make a pie? Why not use rats, they have so much more meat on their bones. I never eat rats, it's like eating a skunk that...

Thomas was a fairly recent immigrant from the Emerald Isles, having sailed into New York Harbor on January 1st, 1892, under the watchful eye...

August 27, 1997 Nearly 70 fiberglass street signs were stored in the workshop of Jim and Kathie Moerbe’s Rader Creek home. The signs were purchased by the county to identify the confusing and changing Rader Creek roads, and are part of national, state, and county programs created to help emergency vehicle drivers locate streets and residences. However, the signs divided the rapidly growing Rader Creek area, and it was uncertain if the green signs would be erected, and if erected, how long they would stay up. The population seemed to hold one of...
