    Governor Greg Gianforte announced Montana’s unemployment rate decreased 0.3% in November to 2.8%, tying the lowest unemployment rate ever recorded in the state.     The Bureau of Land Management’s Butte Field Office will burn slash piles during the upcoming months in Beaverhead, Lewis and Clark, and Jefferson counties, near Wise River, Clancy, Marysville, and Rader Creek. The piles will be burned when the ground is snow-covered or when the surrounding fuels are wet enough to minimize the potential for unwanted fire spread.     The Canyon Ferry Reservoir public comment period is now open and will continue through June 8. Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA) allows federal agencies to collect and retain user fees for overnight camping, group use shelters, and special use permits.
