FEBRUARY 24, 1999 Borden's Hotel, a landmark building in downtown Whitehall since 1913, was purchased by Marion and Duane Alberts of Whitehall and reopened for business on February 16th. Hank, as he was known by most, died peacefully in the home of his grandson Mark LaMere and his wife Shae in Lewisville, Colorado. He was born in Montrose, Colorado. and was one of five children.
