For the second straight year there will be a fall festival in Whitehall. The Whitehall Chamber of Commerce and Whitehall Garden Club are sponsoring the 2019 event scheduled for Saturday, October 12. The Golden Sunlight Mine's tailings processing project is one step closer to reality. According to mine general manager Dan Banghart, Barrick Gold recently approved the mine advancing the project with detailed engineering and preparing for a permit application.
