    It didn't take long for a large crowd to gather last Saturday at the 100th Anniversary Celebration at Cardwell School.   • Organizers pleased with 2018 event

    Event organizers had many positives things to say about last month's Whitehall Frontier Days. Chamber Treasurer Jill Dove reported there were around 240 in attendance at the organizations July 28 barbecue, an increase from prior years. Dove added there was also increased attendance at the rodeo.     Tickets are currently on sale for two upcoming concerts in Jefferson County by rising country music star John King. A Georgia native who received significant national airplay for his song "Tonight, Tonight", King is scheduled to play Thursday, August 16 at the Rodeo Grounds in Whitehall, and Friday, August 17 at the Jefferson County Recreation Park in Boulder.
