The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office currently has an opening for one full time Detention Officer. The position will perform general detention duties in the Detention Center located in Boulder. REQUIREMENTS: • Post certification preferred but not required. • 18 Years of age and a citizen of the United States • Must have or be eligible to obtain a Montana Driver’s License • Must be of excellent moral character with no criminal history (a thorough background investigation will be conducted) • Must be willing and able to do shift work to include nights, weekends and holidays.
