    A rattlesnake avoidance-training course for dogs will take place Saturday, July 8 in Whitehall. The event, sponsored by the Montana Brittany Club, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at 197 HWY 2 East in Whitehall.     The search for a missing Whitehall woman came to a tragic end Tuesday afternoon. The body of 21-year-old Kirsten Ryerson was found Tuesday afternoon on Point of Rocks Road near Whitehall. She had died from injuries suffered in a 4-Wheeler accident.     In early May, the Rocky Mountain Development Council (RMDC) held a meeting with parents concerned about the possibility that the Whitehall Head Start program may close. Parents and concerned citizens were informed that two issues needed to be resolved in order to ensure the program would continue for the 2017-2018 school year.     Judge Luke Berger formally launched his candidacy to retain his position as district court judge in Montana's Fifth Judicial District this week by filing the necessary paperwork with the Montana Commissioner of Political Practices.
