Spring fever is in the air, with quarter four well underway. We have 34 middle school track students, 40 high school track students, and 12 students playing golf. The winter bustle is upon us at the Whitehall Schools, with sports and the second semester underway. Our gyms are busy with basketball and wrestling. Tournaments are coming up fast with wrestling Divisional this weekend in Butte at the Civic Center. This Saturday, the 5th, senior recognition for basketball starts before the girl’s game at 230. Quarter 1 is in the books for the school year of 21-22. The first few months of school are always exciting with sports, academics, and welcoming the students back. We are enjoying the full hallways and classrooms. Our focus this fall has been working as a school community, getting students involved, and providing as many opportunities as possible for our students and staff. April is a busy month with added layers of standardized testing. We recently finished the ACTs with the Juniors and have the Pre-ACTs for Sophomores planned for April 27th. The Whitehall Class of 2020 will graduate in six separate ceremonies scheduled for this Sunday in Varsity Gym. With such an upheaval in everyone's lives this spring, we are thankful we are able to provide senior graduates and their families a unique and personal ceremony. On May 31st, graduates will be able to receive their diplomas during small ceremonies scheduled throughout the day.
