I hope everyone has a wonderful few days off for Thanksgiving. The Library will be closed Thursday and Friday this week so the staff may enjoy the holiday with friends and family. People are always surprised when they see which books have been banned and for what reason. The fact that the Bible, If I Ran the Zoo by Dr. Seuss, The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley, and The Call of the Wild, by Jack London have all been banned shows a wide div...

Music and art are the themes for September children’s programs. Butch Paquin will be teaching a watercolor class for school age children on Tuesdays at 4:00 pm and the library will be providing all of the supplies. Please call the Library to sign up for this set of classes so we may have enough paints and paper for everyone.
