The Whitehall Garden Club (WGC) is offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship will be awarded to any Whitehall, Montana High School of Home School Graduating Senior. Students pursuing a corresponding course on the internet through an accredited institution will be considered. Adults who are working on degrees through an accredited institution will also be considered. The criteria for adults will be the same and must be high school graduates. Out of approximately 580 members in 24 clubs across the state of Montana, Whitehall resident Barbara Lien was selected as the “Gardener of the Year” during the Montana Federation of Garden Club’s yearly convention held in Billings in June.
