    Dear Editor, There are four individuals running to replace Leonard Wortman as Jefferson County Commissioner and there are many good things to be said about all of them. Leonard Wortman did an excellent job as Jefferson County Commissioner for quite a few years.     Dear Editor, I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and I mentioned to him the quality of the medical team we have in Whitehall. After thinking about it for a minute I decided to share that information with the community to share both my gratitude to the medical providers and acknowledge their contribution to the community.     Dear Editor, As a kid raised on a farm in northern Minnesota, I attended the last one-room schoolhouse of all eight grades. Graduating eighth grade and starting high school I recognized how privileged I was at Sunnyside school where I listened to classes for all eight grades. First graders were partnered with older students and given the privilege of raising and lowering the flag.
