The spring Whitehall Hunter Ed course will be held at the Whitehall Community Center. The first class will be on April 3rd from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The following week, classes will be on April 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th from 6:30 PM to 9 PM. The test and field exercise will be on April 13th from 8 AM to 4 PM. Students must attend all classes. The spring class of Hunter Education was recently completed with the following students receiving their certificates: Kolton Hanser, Mason McElroy, Daylan Mercer, Emery Peyton, Lakota Peyton, Blaine Vaughn, Mandy Hanser, Abby Petterson, and Corban Slater. In order to hunt in the state of Montana you need to pass a Hunter Education program if you were born after January 1, 1985. The course is administered by Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks.
