  • WMS Trojan Football Finishes Undefeated

BRITT MCLEAN, WMS Football Head Coach|Oct 18, 2023

We had a very successful year in Whitehall Middle School football. The team went undefeated 6-0. Many teams have standout players and key participants, but this was not necessarily the case with our team. As a team, every player clicked and filled the roles that we needed in order to be successful. We had a strong line and offensive threats that kept our offense ticking throughout the season. Defensively we had numerous players step up and make big plays as well. We were cohesive in all aspects of our special teams and able to get the jobs...

Whew! That is about all I can say about how fast this year has flown past. I cannot believe that we are already in May. This is a very busy time of year in the school realm. We are finishing up with testing and grade-level curriculum, the kids have their field trips throughout the month, the Elementary Spring Concert is on the 16th at 7:00 pm, our K-5 track meet is coming up on the 22nd starting at 10:00 am, (weather permitting) and by the end of the month we are out of school. (June 1st) I absolutely cannot stand it when I am a day ahead in...

Life is springing out in all aspects of the word. Leaves are budding, grass is growing, and animals are reproducing. It is a stimulating time of...

January is a month full of cold and winter. January also reminds us of portions of our life that may need improving or revamping (New Year’s Resolutions). It is funny how motivated we are to start something new, or continue something started because of a resolution. As I pondered what my resolution should be, I was reminded of work and what was accomplished in 2016. As a professional, my goal is to help continue making Whitehall the best elementary school it can possibly become. Our students here are the best and are also why educators c...

I cannot believe that we are back into the swing of things here at Whitehall Elementary. As with other years, I find myself asking where has the summer gone. I hope all of you were able to find time to spend some quality time with your little ones during our time out of school. I was able to find some time to camp and enjoy my family throughout the summer. The furthest away I traveled from Whitehall was Champaign Illinois, and if you have ever been in that part of the country you know that it is hot and flat. During the time I spent down...
